On Saturday, the hall of Al Dhaid Club hosted the international junior karate championship 'Stars of the Future', with 262 athletes from 11 clubs participating. The clubs of Sharjah and Al Ahli Youth shared the top spot in the overall standings, alternating their dominance in the men's and women's categories and splitting the largest number of gold medals. In men's kata, Sharjah took first place, ahead of Kalba (second) and Al Dhaid (third). Then, Sharjah's athletes repeated their success in men's kumite, defeating Al Ahli Youth and Kalba. In women's categories, Al Ahli Youth secured first place in kata, outperforming Dubai Police and 'Fujairah for Martial Arts'. The athletes from the same club continued their dominance in women's kumite, securing first place, ahead of Dubai Police and 'Torossian Center'.
